MAGEE, SERVICE DOG IN TRAINING (SHE/HER)
Future Assistance Dog
Magee is a Paws With a Cause service dog in training who is living with Tami during her last few months of puppy-hood. Magee's talents are vast, but include (in no particular order) zoomies, invading people's personal space, ball chasing, and making sad faces to get treats. She is an avid lover of cats, snacks, and long naps (and snores). She will be with us here at the clinic until November 4, 2024, when she will return to Paws With a Cause for the rest of her training journey to become an assistance dog or a facility dog.
Like her predecessor, Ace, Magee holds a Certificate of Cuteness Competence, a very real and not at all made up certification.
Tami is an approved foster parent for Paws With a Cause! This means that she helps raise future service dogs during their first year of life. In 2023/2024, she fostered Ace, who has since returned to Paws for the rest of his training. Will she get another dog after Magee? Only time will tell...
...but probably yes.
